Relationships, whether personal, professional or love, are a mirror for our own personal growth and transformation.
When we experience challenges in our relationships that result in our being emotionally triggered by another person’s actions, it is an invitation to explore why we are having that experience.
It is easy to blame the other person for the way we feel, it is much more difficult to pause and take a look in the mirror, to see why we are experiencing the trigger in the first place.
2022 is a year for massive transformation, whether we like it or not.
We can choose to ignore these opportunities for personal change, and trust me, they will come back around later to remind us of the work we need to do. Or, we can consciously choose to work with the energy in that moment and be curious about why we are having that experience.
People are changing, and as a result, relationships will change. Change is uncomfortable and change is necessary.
When we are uncomfortable, it is an indication that we need to pay attention and go within to explore the source of where it is coming from.
If you are projecting outward onto others but not owning your part, you are missing a golden opportunity to learn something new about yourself.
Diving Into the Experience
As I sit here in my own personal experience, I am learning, noticing and observing…
- my attachment to the way “it” (relationship/experience/etc) has always been
- the challenge in letting go of these attachments
- how differences in personal belief systems can divide us (if we allow it)
- how those differences can cause us to judge each other (if we allow it)
- how I still take certain judgments as an attack on me personally
What I am also noticing is…
- my willingness to feel the sadness and disappointment without judgment
- my willingness to be present with my experience and allowing it to unfold
- my openness to learn and integrate the experience into my being (embodiment)
I am not saying this is easy. What I am saying is that it is a necessary part of the cycles of growth and transformation.
We choose the level of hard we want to experience in life, and trust me, avoidance is also not easy.
Blessings, love and light,
Tania
